Storytelling

I am trying out for UIL in retelling stories.  We have a meeting next Wednesday.  Tryouts are the Wednesday after that one.  There can only be four people on a team.  The positions are three players and an understudy.  I compete by retelling stories in deep detail, use hand motions, and side effects.

Legos

The other day, me, Ryan and Jake built a Lego ship.  But, everyone wrecks Ryan's ships.  But, when Jack and I help him find rare pieces and crystals, they still break his cool ships and buses!  So, we try the best we can so we can still work on our buses and ships.  We try to finish quickly at snack so that we can get back to our Lego pieces. We love finding really rare pieces, but now we can't find the red ruby.  We think one kid took it home.

The Google Glasses Drones

Yesterday, I went to a park.  And guess what?  We saw a helicopter drone thing, and it was cool!!  I'm like my Papa J because I went up to the man that was flying it.  I brought my friend Luke.  We asked him a few questions.  He had these things called Google Glasses.  They can do anything that your phone can do.  So, Avery went first.  She tried his Google Glasses on.  And then I did.  Then we went to have ice cream.  After we finished our ice cream, we had to go home.  I loved getting to do that and seeing the drone and Google Glasses.

My Christmas Day

My special Christmas morning, I love to open Santa's gifts to me.  It is so much fun!  I really am surprised when he gives me surprise gifts!  This year, he knew that I wanted skates even though I didn't ask for them!  These are the three things that I asked for:  a skate board, a bow and arrow, and a guitar case.  Aunt Cody sent me her old guitar as a Christmas gift.  She said we needed to get a new case for the guitar.  I love my guitar!  I love the things that I got this year!  I also love everything else that I got form everyone else.  It makes me feel good.  My favorite gift from Santa was my skateboard.  It has writing on it from Tony Hawk.  He is my favorite skateboarder in the entire world.  My grandparents came to my house.  It was a lot of fun.  We always go to their house sometimes for Christmas, and they come to our house sometimes.  Papa J teaches me about meat and Mama J helps me cook.  This year, Papa J helped me with wood projects.  He even got me a wood working set.  I like Daddy's present that Mommy gave to him.  It is a coffee machine, but it makes hot cocoa and hot tea too.  I like the hot cocoa.  It is very tasty!

My Sprained Foot

Yesterday when I came home, I took off my boots.  My friends came over. We watched a little of How the Grinch Stole Christmas and then we started watching Sound of Music.  When I was watching How the Grinch Stole Christmas, I told my dad that my foot was hurting.  He put my pillow pet on the bottom, and then put a rag on my foot with an ice pack on top.  The next day, my friends asked me if I wanted to go outside and play in the ice.  I said, "No.  Not until I go to the doctor."  I went to the Emergency Room.  They took an X-Ray.  Then they said I could not go outside and play.  I was really sad.  They wrapped my foot up in an ACE bandage.  When I got home, Daddy and Lauren made me a spot.  And then I sat in my spot with some toys.  Then I went to a tea party for Lauren.  I said I was going to look for Think.  Daddy said, "I heard a knock on the door."  I ran to the door, and opened the door.  It was Think!!  He's my Elf on the Shelf.

Hershey, Pennsylvania - I want to go to the Hershey factory
Great Wolf Lodge - The water park is amazing!
New York - to see the Statue of Liberty and Empire State Building
Washington D.C. - to see the White House and to see if the president is home
